FAQ

About the schedule

What time zone are launch times in?

All times on Pad Zero are in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). Eastern Daylight Time is UTC minus 4 hours and Pacific Daylight Time is UTC minus 7 hours.

Why do SpaceX launch dates change?

A launch can slip for weather at the pad or in the booster recovery area, a technical check on the rocket or payload, or a conflict on the launch range. A scrubbed attempt usually moves to the next available window, often a day later.

What does NET mean on a launch schedule?

NET means no earlier than. It is the earliest date or time a launch is planned for, and the real liftoff can be later.

Where does the launch data come from?

Pad Zero checks SpaceX's public launch pages and the Launch Library 2 feed by The Space Devs, and corrects entries by hand where needed. Each launch links to the source it came from.
